Kate Pankhurst Writer and illustrator Kate’s Mariella Mystery books are perfect for young independent readers, combining funny stories with quirky illustrations to create truly engaging reads
Curtis Jobling Creator of Bob the Builder, multi-talented Curtis is also the writer of picture books, such as Old MacDonald had a Zoo, as well as brilliant books for older readers, including the Wereworld series and Haunt: Dead Scared
Terry Caffrey Festival favourite Terry is a multi-award-winning poet and is writer-in-residence at the National Football Museum and for the Halle Orchestra. Watch him bring words to life – and be ready to join in!
Helen Hancocks Throughout the afternoon, the author and illustrator of Penguin in Periland William’s Missing Masterpiece will be leading arts and craft sessions based around her wonderful picture books
There was food and drink from Vintage Afternoon Teas, Kings Cafe, Good Honest Food and Dunham Massey Apple Juice; dancing with Bollin Morris and our usual line up of crafts and competitions.
