Denzell Book Fest 2012

For our second festival, we offered Something for Everyone, with authors ranging from emerging talents to established and respected critics, lecturers and writers, and representing a range of genres.

Our authors were:

Childrens – Ellie Irving, Adam Perrott and Philip Womack

Cookery – Signe Johansen

Biography – Alan Shelston and Tom Williams

Poetry – Amanda Dalton and Adam O’Riordan

Fiction – Cath Staincliffe

Craft activities were provided by Cupcakes for Clara and Local Creation, the Library Theatre Company ran a badge-making stall and there was live music from Caesar Goddard and Carly McLachlan

For refreshments, we welcomed back Vintage Afternoon Teas and Cocina Galician. They were joined by the Belgian Bar, The Gobstopper and Dunham Massey Apple Juice, as well as a Pimms tent in aid of the Ben Crean Trust and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young)
